L'oreal Elnett Satin Hairspray

This hairspray is magical! I generally curl my hair and spray my head all over, but sometimes I spray each individual curl after I curl it. I have the "strong hold" and it keeps my hair curled all day, I naturally have straight hair. I would definitely recommend this to everyone I know, even if I comb my hair after I spray this never flakes or leaves white residue. The hold could be a bit stronger and the smell could be better but overall it works very nice, 9/10 stars

Mini Adidas Haul

Sorry for neglecting you guy for such a long time but I haven’t really done any shopping recently. I did get some Adidas pants a little while back. Adidas is a great company because they make a lot of nice sports apparel that is great quality! Here are some pictures of the pants.




The green one has a thin layer of fleece underneath the wind breaker material. The black one is all fleece.

Shopping Trip to Jcpenny

Okay so I went to the mall maybe a week or two ago and I did some shopping solely at JCpenny. I initially went to the mall because I need some new shoes for track (I’m a distance runner!). So I go to the mall and I pick out these cute adidas sports culture shoes and they are black/purple. The thing I like about adidas is their pants I’ve owned at least 8 pairs. Pants are great because I don’t have to worry about being cold because there is a wind breaker material that prevents wind from going the cloth and contacting my skin.

I had just did  a run in the so there is some dirt on the bottom.
Anyways I bought the shoes and later I was looking through I found the cutest black flats. Black flats essential to any wardrobe because you can wear them with anything and you can always dress them up or down. Then I saw that there where jeans on sale so I picked up two in the same size(3) and same brand( Vanilla Star) so I picked up 2 flare jeans and 1 was light blue the other was dark blue. So when I get home I decide to try the jeans and one fits and the other doesn’t…… so I look at the tag and the light blue jean that don’t fit is made of mostly cotton and the dark blue jean that does is made of organic cotton. I guess organic cotton is stretchier.

I also bought a simple long white top. I have one that is somewhat like it but this one has a little bit of see through material and it looks super cute. Then i wore the shirt i wore it under dark blue skinny jeans and grey boots.

I also bought a black cardigan with a white tank top sewn in and it came with a circle scarf.

Estee Lauder automatic eye pencil Duo 01-Jet Black

I have to admit my mom did buy the Estee Lauder automatic eye pencil Duo 01-Jet Black but I do use it. I don’t use the eye liner often, just for special occasions because it is very expensive (around $24). The thing I LOVE about Estee Lauder is that they always have great deals like spend $32 and get a whole bunch of stuff for free. So In my mind rather than spending $32 at a drugstore I rather spend it at Estee Lauder and get the same amount of stuff but more of department store quality and generally everything at Estee Lauder is very pigmented and great quality.


So back to the Estee Lauder automatic eye pencil Duo 01-Jet Black. I’ve gone through at least 2 pencil and plenty of refills. It is extremely pigmented, very creamy, great packaging, true to color (same color as the box says) and stays on forever. I have a story for this eyeliner. Once I had to go to wedding in New Jersey and my family and I were driving there. The drive was about 2 hours long and the wedding was maybe about 3 and I put my makeup about and hour before we left. At the end of the night my makeup looked exactly like when I put it on (great story huh). So this is my example of this eye liner (and other makeup products) lasting a very long time. By the way there is a smudger on the other side of the automatic eyeliner but I don’t smudge my eyeliner often but it does work okay. I haven’t tried many smudgers to know what the best and worst are but this one does the job. I would definitely give it a 10/10.

I bought the Wet N Wild eye pencil a little while ago and I bought it mainly so I had a back up eye pencil in my makeup bag. I mainly use the NK eye pencil in A01 which is just a regular black eye pencil I got from a tiny beauty store. Once I put the Wet n wild coloricon eye in my makeup I never really used it because I never really do touch ups through my day (besides lip gloss of course). eventually I put my Wet N Wild coloricon eye liner in my makeup drawers and started using it more regularly.


Overall I have to say I like it a lot and now instead of using my NK eyeliner I definitely reach for my Wet N Wild coloricon. the Wet N Wild coloricon eyeliner has great pigmentation does definitely last me at least 9 hours and then I take of my makeup so I’m not sure if it will any longer but it is bad for your skin to wear makeup all day. Wet N Wild coloricon eye liner is creamy but an 8/10 on the creaminess but overall I would give it a 9.5/10 specially being around $1 it is a great deal.

New York Shopping Trip

This will only have my purchases from New York.

So recently I haven’t bought any make-up but I have done a little bit of clothes shopping (I will make occasional outfit of the day blogs). Okay so my first shopping trip was back when I went to New York and then a week later I went to the mall with my mom and did some shopping again. When I was in New York I bought a pair of jeans, sweater/cardigan, a tunic, a spring jacket and a hoodie. The jeans I got are from Pac sun and they fit me so nicely (New Fav Pair).

The problem I have with most skinny jeans is that I’m a size 3 by waist but most jeans in size 3 are not long enough (I’m 5”5’ish). I prefer to have long jeans that go a couple inches past my ankle and I can never find 3 Long but surprisingly I found it at Pac Sun. So if I do end up buying more skinny jeans I will definitely try to go to Pac Sun.

The sweater/cardigan, tunic and the spring jacket I got all from Debs. I can’t find the links for the clothes but I will definitely try to post some pics ASAP! I don’t have a DEB shop in my mall so whenever I go to New York I always try to get a couple of things from that store. The sweater/cardigan is dark pink cardigan with dark pink buttons in the middle, it has two side pockets and the shoulders have design on them.

The tunic is a simple nicely fitted white tunic but it did come with a black belt. I mostly bought the shirt because I liked the belt but when I wore the tunic to school I received so many compliments I suddenly started liking the shirt.

 Last item I bought from this store was a grey jacket. The jacket isn’t a long jacket it is like 6 inches past my hips but it is very nice for spring. The mistake I made with buying the jacket is that I bought a size large. Normally I buy size medium but the store only had size L at the time. I ended up buying the jacket anyway because for $8 the jacket was a complete steal.

The hoodie I got from American Eagle. It’s definitely not super warm but it is nice for spring and I live in MD so spring is approaching. A thick hoodie is too much but a simple popover hoodie is just fine. I really like the hoodies the American Eagle came out with near black Friday. I initially did buy 2 on black Friday and it is nice to have another one. I really want to go back and buy a couple I have bean eyeing on the website but I probably wont go clothes shopping for anther 2-4 weeks. The hoodies all have an environmental design on them and I’m all for the environment.

Estee Lauder Gentle Eye Makeup Remover & POND'S Cold Cream the Cool Classic.

I usually don’t use eye and face makeup removers, just because I rather wash my face with soap. But recently I have started using both eye and face removers (midterms, we all hate em’). I have been staying up all night studying and napping right after school, so I have been too tired to wash my face. I really like the POND’S Cold Cream because it gets all of my powder foundation off (yay for bareminerals). I make sure to apply it to a cotton pad and then use the pad all over my face. Then I use the other side of the pad to absorb any excess cream off my face. Do the same with the eye remover but I use a new cotton pad. I some what dislike the eye remover because it seems to leave some mascara or eyeliner behind on the rim of my eyes and I always have to use the POND’S cream on that. The POND’S cream can be used for both eye and face. This is my third or fourth jar of POND’S creams (I have tried the blue one as well ) and always buy the 9.5 oz (the big one) and my second or third Estee Lauder gentle eye make-up remover. I would definitely recommend the POND’S cream and the Estee Lauder eye makeup remover to anyone interested.
